HR & ADMIN. MANAGER
This role involves planning HR initiatives that support business growth, taking part in strategic planning and playing largely administrative functions. This role is critical to ensuring that we are not only bringing in the right people, but we are also putting in place strategies to project an image of the organization that will attract the kind of talent that will succeed with us. The role requires advising management on key people metrics and significantly contribute towards creating an environment that will enable employees to thrive and increase employee engagement.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
You will drive and be the key owner to the following responsibilities:
- Processing employment contracts, termination documents, promotion letters, etc for employees
- Processing leave requests, keeping statistics and reporting to managers
- Keeping track of attendance and reporting same to managers
- Working closely with the Finance Department to provide inputs on monthly KPI achievements
- Ensuring that employee files are updated
- Responsible for ensuring availability of Job descriptions and making sure that they are updated regularly and kept in one place .
- Updating HR policies and procedures and communicating same to all employees.
- Employer Branding-representing Esoko at Job fairs, Universities, etc. Working closely with Communication to ensure high quality of presentation materials.
- Working with Line managers to fill vacancies and using creative methods to source for candidates
- Organize different employee social events to promote motivation and communication to build the desired culture
- Making use of internal communication tools to update employees and keep them engaged.
- Manage the performance management system and ensure timely initiation of it all year round.
- Identify and provide recommendation for learning based on Competency Map requirement.
Qualification and Experience
- At least 4-5 years work experience in a similar of related field
- First Degree or Masters Degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management.
