Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

 

The M&E specialist is responsible for project design and development of data collection instruments in collaboration with other Ghana officers and the Managing Directors.  He is responsible for all data collection and analysis in order to assist other team members execute their tasks so that reports can be submitted in a professional and timely manner.  The M&E specialist is responsible for the collection of information, training materials and reports on best practices in business service delivery, and capacity building of farmers and networks under Esoko Ghana and Open Markets.  He will disseminate and communicate this information to other team members and partners.  The M&E specialist will take a leadership role in the development of case studies, identifying lessons learned, and ensuring that the monitoring and evaluation plan, project log frame/results framework, annual implementation plans, project reports timelines and work plans are adhered to.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serves as in-house technical expert on all monitoring and evaluation related activities
  • Collect and analyze data in order to assist other team members execute their tasks in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collect information, training materials and reports on best practices in business service delivery, and capacity building of farmers and disseminate these to other team members and partners
  • Develop case studies in collaboration with other team members to illustrate lessons learned and activity successes
  • Promotion and Marketing of Esoko Ghana and Open markets Foundation
  • Other roles pertinent to M&E activities
  • Supervision of Project Activities and Reporting

Candidate Requirement

  • A minimum of first degree in statistics or a relevant field of study
  • Relevant 3 years field experience
  • Ability to stay out of office and carry out field work
