Esoko is trying to change how projects and businesses manage smallholder farmers, suppliers and clients through the effective use of mobile/web innovations. Esoko's growth is well underway and needs to ramp up its execution scale quickly. Hence the need for an Operations Manager. The operations manager will be mainly responsible for managing the activities of Esoko, including daily operations and keeping all the departments productive. The operations manager will report to the CEO of Esoko.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with the CEO and other senior managers at Esoko. Assist in development of strategic plans for operational activities. Systematically execute and manage operational plans.
• Help exceed company sales and operations goals.
• Develop and manage company & team budgets.
• Coordinate, manage and monitor daily workload of various departments at Esoko.
• Improve policies and procedures  in support of Esoko's goals. Formulate and implement departmental policies to maximize productivity. Monitor adherence to rules and procedures.
• Review financial statements & data. Use financial data to improve profitability. Plan effective strategies to improve financial performance of Esoko.
• Set up and maintain productivity & quality standards.
• Manage  customer support. Plan and support sales and marketing activities.
• Manage, monitor and improve the efficiency of support functions like Finance & HR. 

Required Skills

• Should have  at least  8 to 10 years of experience as Operations Manager in an IT company.
• Should have a degree in business administration or operations management.
• Background in agriculture (agri-business preferable)
• Be process driven: value KPIs, CRM, targets, reporting
• Want to work in a business with strong social impact
• Want to work in innovative technology company
• Should be extremely persuasive and have critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Should be a born leader with high levels of stress tolerance.
• Ability to speak in French is a plus.
