Esoko is trying to change how projects and businesses manage smallholder farmers, suppliers and clients through the effective use of mobile/web innovations. The International Sales Manager will be responsible for defining the strategy, managing sales operations, segmenting the market, preparing the materials, speaking at conferences, hosting product webinars, consulting with clients, and joining the senior management team in defining the strategy and objectives. We're looking for someone who is strong on process, gets what agri-businesses need, and is keen to work in a private sector tech company with huge potential for social impact and scale.

Job Specification

  • Manage sales team and lead sales operations.
  • Develop and execute Esoko's international sales strategy and plan.
  • Use client inputs to shape Esoko product strategy and rollout.
  • Understand and segment the key sectors and targets for Esoko.
  • Identify and sell the company's key products and services.
  • Design innovative solutions and projects to deploy Esoko.
  • Establish targets and effective sales process.
  • Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Implement sales tracking/CRM software solution.
  • Collaborate with Esoko teams to create effective sales events.

Person Specification

  • 8-10 years sales experience in a senior sales position.
  • Background in agriculture (agri-business preferable)
  • Be creative and original thinker: design the strategy.
  • Be process driven; value KPIs, CRM, targets, reporting.
