Job Title: Farmer Helpline Adviser


Job Description: 1. He/She will be advicing farmers on good agronomic practices in their local languages on phone.

  1. The person will translate crop production protocols to voice messages in the local language.
  2. Will create tickets of all in-bounds and outbound call.
  3. He or she will wright weekly, monthly quarterly and annual call report for the farmer help.
  4. Will be engaged in general farmer helpline processes and procedures.

Qualification: A minimum of first degree in Agriculture Technology, General Agriculture, Agronomy or Agriculture Extension.


Local Languages: The person(S) must be able to speak at least three of the following: Gruni, Kasim, Dagbani, Gonja, Ewe, Nzema, Ga, Fanti and twi. Any additional local language skill will be an added advantage.


Work Experience: At least two (2) years of field experience as an Agriculture extension officer, crop/Animal production worker. He/She must have an experience of working with farmers, NGO that work in the Agricultural sector, Ministry of food and Agriculture, crop research institute, savannah Agricultural research institute or their equivalence.
